What an Upset

So yesterday, we had the day off from school (being Veteran's day and all) so I decided it would be a nice study break to run over to the ARC and go for a climb. I checked to see if the ARC was even open and it said that it did not run holiday hours over Veteran's day. I run over there, however, only to find that the ARC is open but the rock wall is closed all day. Bummer.

I then proceeded to go on a six mile run.

My legs are sore.

We have so many soda bottles that we need a new bookcase to keep them in. It's getting intense. Maybe jake should finally put up that extra shelf....*hint*hint*

Tea Does a Body Good

Especially on a rainy day. I always owe a lot of my good health to the amount of green tea that I drink. Whether or not the association is true or not, well I'm not entirely sure. But nonetheless, I shall continue to drink my tea on an almost daily basis, nice and strong.

It's Been Awhile

Since my last post. Had some technical difficulties. But now I'm back. And I'm staring down the long road to day 365.

Sorry To Inform

My computer is dead and my blogging shall be on a bit of a hiatus for a little. Its kind of upsetting since I'm over halfway to my goal (365 post in 365 days) but oh well. I could use a break from the online lifestyle for a bit. My photography shall hopefully return soon. So, for my few loyal followers, I apologize.

Another Technique Shot

Here I did something similar to the last entry, except with "3 exposures" rather than just two. It is all in the same exposure though. The first part (center RJ) was done with the flash to get it nice and clear and then immediately after the flash went off, I turned to my right and held a pose, and then to the left after, achieving a rather ghostly effect on the two side RJ's. The exposure was 30 seconds long so each pose was held for about 15 sec and this shot was taken in the dead of night on Stinson Beach.

Altering Your Perspective

Heres a double exposure shot that I did with me DSLR. It was a 30 sec exposure and half way through it, I threw my shirt over the lens (to stop light from getting in. Granted it wasn't the best way to achieve this effect) and ran the camera over to a different angle of the same object, and continued the exposure for another 12-13 seconds. I think it came out pretty interesting.

I feel like theres a lot to learn in double exposures. Especially when I see stuff that one of my photography friends does, Maya M. Crazy good.

God, I need to get back into film.
