Lemon Verbena

Also known as Aloysia citrodora.

“Lemon verbena leaves are used to add a lemony flavor to fish and poultry dishes, vegetable marinades, salad dressings, jams, puddings, and beverages. It also is used to make herbal teas, or added to standard tea in place of actual lemon (as is common with Moroccan tea). It can also be used to make a sorbet. In addition, it has anti-Candida albicans activity”

A bunch of this stuff was harvest around the co-op property a few weeks ago and now it's all drying out around our houses. Smells great and makes for a delicious before bed tea.

Tea Does a Body Good

Especially on a rainy day. I always owe a lot of my good health to the amount of green tea that I drink. Whether or not the association is true or not, well I'm not entirely sure. But nonetheless, I shall continue to drink my tea on an almost daily basis, nice and strong.

Tea Leaf Art Update

Here is product 1 of the tea leaf art experiment. I like it, a lot. And i wish i had done it on canvas instead of printer paper...oh well. Stay tuned for the second print I'm working on, ya?

Tea Leaf Art

So I made some loose leaf tea a while ago, and I was sitting there looking at the leaves, and i felt creative. So I place the wet leaves between two pieces of printer paper and smashed em. After a few days i dried it out. I think it ended up with some cool colors. I'm currently working on inking them and fooling around with them. I will post more photos of the finish product soooon

Green Tea

I have been becoming more and more of a green tea fan. I tend to drink it daily. Recently i ordered a loose leaf sample pack from adagio teas and when it arrived, I was more than happy. This i my favorite so far, its called Gunpowder.
