Holy Clothes

Well...I guess it should be holey. All of my clothes have holes in them. I like it, it's like extra ventilation on a hot day. Even though I usually end up getting called a hippie or something like that, but I feel like not all hippies have ripped clothes. Some hippies like being close to nature, others like being free spirits, and other dress perfectly acceptably within social norms. So, in conclusion, call me what you may...I will still continue to wear ripped clothing until it falls off my back.

New Wood

Fullbag Topmount. (11 ply canadian maple + arborite)(40.5" length x 10" width x 18mm concave and super sharp edges) = one badass downhill board. Don't worry, Mom.

Dalai Lama

If the Dalai Lama is laughing, you know it's a good day. Props to the artist, don't know who he is yet but he has made a lot of people smile.

Tanuki

So my friend, Kevin A. went off to Japan awhile back and brought me back a Tanuki figurine. I thought it was amazing, however the only thing i ever knew it from was Chulksmack, a snowboarding video that i bought once. This guys big balls have brought me loads of luck...not to mention that they look awesome too.

Conflicting Messages

I get these all the time. Ambiguities make things interesting...contradictions as well.

Philosophy

So I had a miniature epiphany in philosophy discussion today when we were talking about russell's paradox and a girl brought up the question "What is the point of this?" The teacher continued to try and B.S. his way through some answer with critical thinking and whatnot, but then it dawned on me...What I'm learning in philosophy now will probably never affect my life again, and if it does, it will be in some ridiculously infinitesimal way.

So why bother? I don't know. I've lost all interest in the class, but I will continue to try and get a good grade in it regardless.

There's a lot of knowledge out there. Some of which is completely useless to the individual, but I suppose it all depends on who you are. I've decided that philosophy falls into the completely useless category for me.

New Kicks

I got me some new running shoes. Super light, super flexible. Nike Free 7.0s. I've done one 5 mile test run so far and they are amazing.
